Prince William and Princess Kate "swap" food stolen from a food bank they previously visited.

Prince William and Princess Kate never forget a place or a person once they have visited it.

When they recently learned the terrible news that the food bank at St. Thomas' Church in Wales had been the victim of a break-in and all the food had been stolen, they apparently offered to replace the food. The royal couple had visited the church in September 2022, shortly after receiving their new titles.

"The Crown Prince and Princess have contacted us before to offer their love and support," Pastor Stephen Bunting told ITV News (via Hello!!!). )."

"They want it very much because they want to replace the food that was taken.

Regarding the robbery, the pastor told BBC News, "I think it's more likely to be someone who has taken advantage of us before.

"If someone had come along and said, 'I really need £20,' it would have been easy for us to give it to them."

The Welsh couple visited St. Thomas Church on September 27 to learn all that the church has done to help vulnerable people.

Writing on Instagram about their visit to Wales, the couple wrote, "Puddinghorn da Swansea! Thank you to everyone we met at @stthomasswansea this afternoon.

"It was wonderful to be part of a team that supports their community from a homeless shelter to a food bank to an amazing baby bank, Baby Basics. What a special community hub!"
