According to his girlfriend Tom Holland, Zendaya has put up with a lot during the filming of his new Apple TV+ series, The Crowded Room. (The series is set in 1979.)

"In my career, I've always felt very good about leaving work to work, but it was only with 'The Crowded Room' that it really started to affect my personal life," he told Radio Times . The main reason for that is that it only takes four months to make one film. But with 'Crowded Room,' I played this character day in and day out for 10 months. At certain moments I found myself transforming with him. And obviously, I had that crazy hairstyle."

Of his girlfriend, Holland said, "Also, I had bangs. Congrats to Zendaya! She had a hard time putting up with me looking like that for 10 months. It was tough." On the hair theme, Holland said, "I don't like my hair that dark. I like red hair like my mom. Yeah, it was tough. That was definitely a part of the show that I didn't want to miss."

He continued about the shoot. I'd come home from work and I'd look at myself in the mirror and I'd see him. So it took me a while to figure out how to put him to bed, wake Tom up, get on with my life, and be myself. But I figured it out and I was very happy and healthy."
