Who would have guessed that Tom Holland's solid carpentry work would help him woo Zendaya?

"I really enjoy carpentry," he said. I built my mother's kitchen table. I built her office. I built all the cupboards in her bedroom. I even built a little birdhouse with my grandfather. I even fixed my girlfriend's door when we were first dating."

Holland's kindness seems to have impressed Zendaya: "When I went to visit her house, the door was broken. When I went to visit her, the door was broken. And now we're making love."

The two have co-starred in three Spider-Man movies released between 2017 and 2021. Holland once said, "It definitely helps when the characters you're playing fall in love with each other."

"It helps blur the lines a little bit."

"Our relationship is something we are incredibly protective of and want to keep as sacred as possible," Holland told The Hollywood Reporter earlier this month. 'We don't feel we owe it to anyone. It's ours and has nothing to do with our careers."

The two are in a "serious, permanent relationship," a source told Us Weekly last November. They are both in a settling-in mode and absolutely planning a real future together."
