Halle Berry and Angelina Jolie finally co-star

Two of Hollywood's most iconic actresses are finally working together: Halle Berry and Angelina Jolie will star in and produce "Mode v Mode," Deadline reports.

Berry and Jolie are both Academy Award winners, Berry winning Best Actress for her role in 2002's "Monster's Ball" and Jolie winning Best Supporting Actress for her role in 2000's "The Woman in the Way," but despite a career spanning three decades, they have never worked together before. The exact details are being kept under wraps. Exact details are being withheld, but according to Deadline, one insider described the film as a "Bond versus Bourne" global action thriller.

Both actresses are veterans of the action thriller genre, the magazine reported. Berry played Jinx in the Bond film "007: Die Another Day" and has also appeared in "John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum" and "X-Men." Jolie played the title character in the action thriller film "Salt" and has also appeared in the genre in the films "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" and "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider."

Berry is currently filming the movie "Never Let Go" (which is generating a lot of buzz on Instagram). Jolie recently directed Without Blood and will next be seen in Maria, a biopic of opera singer Maria Callas.

And although they have never worked together, they have at least met, as evidenced by this photo unearthed from the 2003 San Diego Comic-Con!

By the way, no release date has been set for "Mode v Mode," but we can't wait to see it.
