Kelly Clarkson reveals that her daughter is dyslexic and "bullied."

On The Kelly Clarkson Show, the host revealed to guest Henry Winkler that her daughter River, 8, had been bullied in the past over her dyslexia.

This was a heartbreaking revelation, but Winkler, who herself suffers from dyslexia and has written dozens of books, delivered a beautiful message to River. The moment was so pure that Clarkson (understandably) burst into tears.

"I was literally driving my daughter to school yesterday and she is dyslexic. I'm amazed that you would tell my daughter you're dyslexic when you've written 40 books," Clarkson said. [because] she was bullied at school for not being able to read like the other kids."

The Voice judges spoke about her daughter's school's presentation on dyslexia and the wonderful, accomplished celebrities who are dealing with learning disabilities, including Winkler. The singer explained, "The fact that you all spoke so openly about dyslexia seemed to help my daughter."

After hearing this, the "Happy Days" actor addressed River directly to the camera. He said to the little girl." River, how you learn has nothing to do with how great you are."

Clarkson immediately began to get emotional, wiping away tears and saying, "We'll be fine.... We'll be fine... The make-up artist will kill us. The make-up artist is going to kill us.

Winkler became world famous in the 70s and 80s for his role as Arthur "Fonzie" Fonzarelli in "Happy Days," and has recently appeared in "Barry" and "Black Adam. He has also written a number of books for children, many of which follow the adventures of Hank Zipser, a dyslexic child much like River.

As for Clarkson, she is the mother of River and Remington (age 7), whom she shares with her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock.
