Rachel McAdams Shows Off Her Armpit Hair in New Photo Shoot and People Are Going Crazy

Rachel McAdams is as real as it gets.

The "Mean Girls" star recently graced the cover of the latest issue of Bustle. The photo that was eventually published was a stunning one, complete with armpit hair. McAdams' request seems to fit perfectly with her latest project, an adaptation of Are You There, God' It's Me, Margaret?

Not only did she continue to show her armpit hair for the shoot, but she remained completely honest throughout the interview. 'I'm wearing latex underwear for this shoot,' she said. But I've had two children. It's my body and I think it's very important to reflect that to the world. It's good to do what you do best and stay healthy, but it's different for everyone.'

Of course, there was a lot of internet back-and-forth over something as trivial as armpit hair. One writer for the Daily Mail wrote: "Rachel McAdams, hairy armpits are not attractive to women!" He wrote. But this person was quickly put on the spot, replying in a quoted tweet, "Imagine the nerve of trying to tell RACHEL MCADAMS that anything she does may be unattractive."

Others also took to Twitter to praise McAdams for not shaving. One wrote, "yall really need to grow up like it just hair," while another wrote, "If you've been told to shave since you were 12, you too would be sick of shaving every inch of your body to please everyone but yourself. I replied, "Shaving is for the birds, Rachel McAdams is for the women.

He also said, "Armpit hair is for rogues!...! ...... Rachel McAdams is a scoundrel!!!!"

Another added, "Rachel McAdams, I would die for you and your armpit hair."

This issue(?) Our favorite take on it might come from someone who wrote, "If armpit hair makes you uncomfortable, it tells you that you are a loser, and needless to say Rachel McAdams won't even look your way."

Bustle's shoot with McAdams proves to be the gift that keeps on giving. In a behind-the-scenes video from the shoot, McAdams shares some of the wisdom she would give to her pre-teen self, including how to shave.

"Once you start, you never stop," she said. 'Life is long and shaving is hard, but if you're going to do it anyway, watch your ankle bones and your shins. If you go to bible camp and think you can shave without shaving cream, you're in for a world of hurt. Always have shaving cream on hand. If you want to stop shaving, that's fine." A legend indeed.
