Scarlett Johansson makes rare comment about ex-husband Ryan Reynolds: "He's a good man.

Remember when Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds were married? But they were married from 2008 to 2011, and Johansson made a rare comment about her ex-husband during an appearance on the podcast.

The Black Widow actress appeared on Gwyneth Paltrow's goop podcast earlier this week, where the host addressed her marriage.

"You've been married twice?" she asked, to which Johansson replied that she has actually been three times (via People).

"Oh yeah, I forgot I was married to Ryan Reynolds! That's my goal!" Paltrow exclaimed. Paltrow shouted.

Johansson told her, "We weren't married that long, but we were when I first met you in 'Iron Man' (2) or something."

At this stage, the Goop founder shared her family's thoughts on Reynolds. He said, "My family loves Ryan Reynolds.

It may not have been the most spontaneous comment ever, but Johansson told her, "He's a good man."

After their separation, Reynolds famously married fellow actress Blake Lively, with whom he had four children.

As for Johansson, she was married to Romain Dauriac from 2014 to 2017 and shares a daughter, Rose, 8, with him. More recently, she married SNL star Colin Jost, with whom she shares a son, Cosmo, born in 2021.

Johansson's only comment about Reynolds was the line "nice guy," but she said what makes Jost the perfect partner for her. Whether Reynolds met her requirements remains a mystery.

"I never realized, 'Oh, what's really important to me is to be with someone who is caring. It's a fundamental trait that has to be there,'" she explained.

"I think understanding what are the basic things you need in a partner is what you need to live longer anyway. Identifying those things was a breakthrough for me."

All seems to have worked out for the best, as Reynolds has recently been in an equally happy marriage. Reynolds, a Deadpool actor, often praises his wife. For example, he admits that his wife is better at parenting than he is. He says, "Blake runs the show. Without Blake, I really wouldn't be able to do anything," he told David Letterman in May 2022.
