Meghan Markle Hopes to Restart Career After Coronation, Experts Say

For most of 2023, Meghan Markle has been quiet, leaving her husband, Prince Harry, to get all the attention for his book, Spare. But royal experts say that after King Charles' coronation next month, Meghan's career is expected to take a major boost.

The Mirror reports, "According to royal experts, Meghan is waiting until after the coronation to restart her career after stepping down from her role with Harry in 2020." She launched the podcast "Archetypes," started a Netflix show with Harry called "Harry & Meghan," wrote a children's book, and, yes, had another child. But brand and culture expert Nick Ede tells MailOnline, "Once the coronation is over and the eyes of the world are off the king and Prince Harry, I think Meghan will launch a new initiative. 'I think she's working on a new project that she can do on her own, rather than using Prince Harry.'

Could it be her former blog, The Tig, as Marie Claire recently reported, or could it be her own memoir, like Spare?

"She kept her head down for a while," says Mark Borkowski. Her absence [at the coronation] is a statement that the UK is not particularly involved with her and looks like "poor me." But Meghan and Harry's story goes far beyond the confines of the UK and the Commonwealth. There will undoubtedly be a fresh start by Meghan. It is impossible for them to remain silent."
