Emma Watson on turning 33: "It takes a village"

Emma Watson is not known for her regular use of social media, but as she celebrates her 33rd birthday on April 15, she gave us a detailed look at what her life has been like over the past few years.

To mark her new age, the Harry Potter star posted a series of photos from a recent Prada campaign on Instagram, and in the caption of one of them, she opened up all about the lessons she has learned and the people she has walked with.

"This makes me 33. My God, before I turned 29 I didn't even know the concept of a Saturn Return. Let's just say I know better now," Watson quipped.

She then listed some of her influences. 'I learned to surf (badly), I rode horses (well), I did a lot of therapy (YESS therapy!).' . I started @renaisspirits with my brother. Adopted Sophia in Mexico and she's not a dog, she's an angel. We filmed a Harry Potter reunion." [I said goodbye to Grandma and Grandpa. I retraced my steps. I started an environmental investment fund for women; I played pickleball with sugarrayleonard; I played golf and tried to get all my girlfriends to learn. I cut the thumbnails on both hands trying to cook for myself, and for the next few months I could only do it with one hand."[7 [The actress and activist also wanted to emphasize that it was not a smooth road.

"I was really sad and angry about a lot of things. I learned more about love and about being a woman; it took me three years, but I finally figured out the daily practice and could actually keep it up for more than a few days in a row," she wrote.

"I burned some things. Now I'm eating green stuff! I got hooked on building the Squarespace website. Directed my first commercial.

(FYI, this was a video for Prada.)

She ended her caption by thanking everyone else who supported her, "the witches of my coven who were so important in helping me get to where and who I am."

She also shared the following wisdom: "It takes a village. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise," she wrote. [21] [22] Vanessa Hudgens commented, "What a goddess," and Karlie Kloss sent Watson several happy emojis.

We wish Emma Watson a wonderful year.
