Augustinus Bader just launched Retinol Serum for your skin care!

It's pretty rare anymore to get genuinely excited about a new skin care launch. With the sheer number of items on the market (for reference, Sephora's website has nearly 3,000 options), adding something innovative and new to the overwhelming product pool can be daunting. Augustinus Bader the Retinol Serum is designed to reduce wrinkles, address acne, fight hyperpigmentation, and tighten skin. [Augustinus Bader, physician, scientist, professor, and founder of Skincare, says, "We look at what is considered the gold standard on the market and determine if it is something that can be improved with our technology. For the retinol serum, "We wanted to create a potent formula that could be used by a wider range of consumers, those with more sensitive skin, or those who might be nervous about trying retinol because of other experiences." [We asked Professor Bader what to expect from the $350 serum. To learn more, keep reading. He explains why retinol is different from everything else in the world, how the team created a formula that is safe for sensitive skin, and what results can be expected with *continued* use.

Like all products under the retinoid umbrella (which gets a full retinol breakdown), this product is designed to speed up cell turnover. This particular serum harnesses the power of pure retinol (as opposed to strong retinol or weak retinol palmitate). Professor Bader explains, "It is known to reduce and prevent signs of aging and blemishes, efficiently converts to retinoic acid, and allows the skin to retain higher levels of vitamin A."

The decision to use retinol, as opposed to other vitamin A derivatives, makes perfect sense, but that is not what makes retinol serums stand out from other options. In addition to the brand's proprietary TFC8® technology, which is packed with amino acids and vitamins that nourish and optimize the skin, the Retinol Serum contains a microbiome blend that maintains skin balance, a zinc complex that strengthens the skin's barrier function and reduces sebum production, a highly moisturizing Marine Ectoin, and many other moisturizing ingredients.

Sorry to be so blunt: But some retinoids can burn your face. Board-certified dermatologist Dr. Sapna Parep once told Marie Claire about the use of retinoids: "With retinoids, cell turnover is quite rapid, so you can get flaking and mild peeling." But Augustinus Bader's chemists were determined to create a retinol without the common drawbacks. Professor Bader explains, "The retinol serum was designed to be a gentler formulation, with fewer side effects such as irritation, dryness, redness, and hypersensitivity."

Therefore, they chose retinol over retinol (which is more irritating) and balanced it with a healthy overabundance of moisturizing and soothing ingredients that perpetuate the skin's ability to repair itself. The result is a formula that promotes continuous renewal, along with the accelerated cell turnover for which retinol is known, making for a more pleasant retinol experience and making it more likely that users will continue to use it."

While all skin types can use this product, special attention should be paid to those who assert that they cannot tolerate retinol. This product was developed specifically for sensitive skin and was clinically tested exclusively on people with "self-described sensitive skin"; at the end of the 12-week trial, 100% agreed that this retinol did not cause dryness, redness, or irritation.

Like other retinols, they are great for mature (collagen-building) and acne-prone skin. Retinoids help regulate skin cell turnover, which helps prevent clogged pores and is effective against acne and pimples. They also help regulate sebum secretion, which is helpful for people with oily skin who are prone to breakouts.

As with all retinoids, it is recommended to include this product in your nightly routine and apply a pea-sized amount directly over your face after cleansing. For those new to retinol or retinoids, we recommend using it once every three days,"

[7] [8] [9] [10] [11] "Then increase to daily use. 'Then increase to daily use. Then layer on your preferred moisturizer. Don't forget to apply SPF in the morning.

Set some ground rules. You must use this product consistently to see results. In clinical trials, users reported starting to see results around the 2 week mark, but it will take about 12 weeks to see the full range of results. A few things emerge from the brand's clinical trial: 63 men and women between the ages of 25 and 70 were given the product; at three months, 87 percent said they noticed an improvement in their blemishes (it is worth noting that not everyone in the pool was suffering from acne), 69 percent said their skin texture 68 percent reported an improvement in skin texture, and 56 percent said that fine lines and wrinkles were less noticeable.
