Selena Gomez Urges Fans Not to Send "Hate" Messages to Haley Bieber: "This is Not What I Stand For"

Selena Gomez and Haley Bieber have been in the middle of an alleged feud for the past few months, and Gomez, a fierce mental health advocate, really wants it to stop.

The "Only Murderers in the Building" star took to Instagram Stories to urge fans to stop sending hateful messages to Bieber.

She wrote, "Haley Bieber contacted me to let me know that she has been receiving death threats and such hateful negative messages."

"This is not something I support. No one should have to go through the hate and bullying.

"I have always advocated for kindness and I really wish this would stop."

She added a red heart emoji, indicating that the message was from love, as usual for Gomez.

The alleged drama between the two women began earlier this year when fans thought Bieber was mocking Gomez on a TikTok she made with Kendall Jenner and Justine Skye.

It continued when fans thought Kylie Jenner and Bieber were mocking Gomez for saying she "accidentally laminated her eyebrows too much," and when a video resurfaced that appeared to show Bieber dissing Taylor Swift and Gomez defending Swift It continued when he jumped in.

At various points in the saga, all parties involved denied any mutual animosity, but every dedicated Selena Gomez fan, including her former costar Jennifer Stone, jumped to her defense.

Unfortunately, many people seem to think this has gone too far and are bullying Bieber instead of supporting Gomez.

Regarding the whole ordeal, Gomez once said, "Please be kinder and consider the emotional well-being of others. My heart is heavy and I only want what is good for everyone. Love them."

In other words: kill them with kindness.

Update 3/24: Bieber posted a text on his Instagram Story that echoes Gomez's sentiments: "These past few weeks have been so hard for everyone involved and millions of people have seen so much hate surrounding this.
