If Prince Harry attends the coronation, will he avoid bowing to Queen Camilla?

If Prince Harry is to attend his father King Charles' coronation at Westminster Abbey on May 6, he will avoid bowing to his stepmother, Queen Camilla, a source tells the Mirror.

Camilla will be crowned alongside Charles at the ceremony, which will no doubt be at least a little difficult for Harry to witness, as Camilla was a painful part of his late mother Princess Diana's life during her marriage to Charles.

Harry has spoken about Camilla in his memoir, Spare, and in subsequent interviews to promote it. In the pages of Spare, Harry writes, "I have mixed feelings about having a stepmother who I thought had recently sacrificed me at the altar of her personal PR."

However, according to the Mirror, "The plan for coronation day is for Harry and Camilla to be essentially separated. A source told the Daily Mail that only Prince William will pay his respects to Prince Charles at the ceremony, and Harry will remain in his seat throughout the service. A source said, "Harry won't have to bow as he passes the queen."

Detailed plans for the event in five weeks are in the final stages. According to the Times, the Sussexes will not participate in the procession from the Abbey back to Buckingham Palace, despite the couple's requests to the contrary. Harry and Meghan have been incorporated into all plans, including cars, seating plans, and dining arrangements," a source told the Daily Mail.
