There is "zero chance" that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will appear on the balcony of Buckingham Palace after Prince Charles' coronation, a royal expert said.

[Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are making some pretty big demands to attend King Charles' coronation at Westminster Abbey on May 6, "Marie Claire" recently reported: they want their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to attend, the Sussex They want all four members of the family to appear on the balcony of Buckingham Palace with the rest of the royal family after the ceremony, and since May 6 is also Archie's fourth birthday, they want some form of recognition of that on the day, despite all the attention on Prince Charles and Queen Camilla.

At least one of these requests is certain not to materialize, OK reports - they will not line up on the balcony of Buckingham Palace with the current members of the royal family, says royal expert Angela Mollard.

"What they have said recently is that they want to be on the balcony for the coronation. 'This is five weeks from now; five weeks from now.' We need to know if we are going to have chairs available."

Harry and Meghan have been invited, and their offices have confirmed it, but there is no word yet on whether they will say yes or no to this historic event. (The coronation has not been held since June 1953, when Queen Elizabeth was crowned.)

"There is no chance they will be on the balcony," Mollard said. 'The queen wanted a slim monarchy. Prince Charles is pushing it further. He handled Andrew brilliantly, and they need to turn around and say they have no chance of getting on the balcony."

With Prince Andrew, Prince Harry, and Meghan no longer active royals, it has become a recent tradition that active royals only appear on the balcony at events, such as during the Queen's Platinum Jubilee last June.

"When the king is crowned, there is a coronation procession from Westminster Abbey to Buckingham Palace," says one official. When the procession arrives at Buckingham Palace, the King steps out onto the balcony and waves to the crowd along with the rest of the royal family and their children. Harry and Meghan are hoping to join them here."

The source said.

The only reason precedent has been broken and Harry and Meghan (and potentially Archie and Lili) will be allowed up on the balcony is because Harry is the son of the monarch. However, it appears that there are no plans to do so; a second source says that Harry and Meghan are allegedly refusing to reach an agreement on the matter, and that they may not attend the event at all.

"The palace is trying to wrap up negotiations as quickly as possible. 'It could be a huge mess. It could end in a stalemate and they may not attend. But the Palace is doing everything in its power to make sure that does not happen."
