A few weeks ago, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were photographed heading out for a date at the exclusive San Vicente Bungalows club in Los Angeles.

This came just as news of their departure from Frogmore Cottage became public, and according to insiders and commentators, this was no coincidence and may, in fact, be an indirect message in response to the King's decision.

Still, they were not only trying to prove something with their overnight outing: according to one source, they also felt it was important to nurture their relationship.

"They have been trying to find time for more of these types of date nights, which is not easy given their intense schedules as well as parenting," an insider told Us Weekly. But the thing is that this was important for them to let themselves go and send a message that they will not get upset or let this Frogmore situation get to them"

. [They were just the outing they needed to let their hair down and have a blast in a fun environment, let off some steam, and enjoy themselves again.

After the date, body language expert Judy James analyzed the Sussexes' behavior and said they seemed almost unnaturally unconcerned.

"Harry and Meghan's reaction here seems to be a deliberate projection of a nonverbal 'shrug,' a broad smile or laugh, in the face of the recent Frogmore news," she said at the time.

"But this looks very much like a performance. These smiles appear to be ritual excesses, not smiles prompted by genuine happiness. While Meghan's suggests that she is in a "vulnerable" mode, that of Princess Harry shows an underlying tension."

The Windsors are now a bit confused. Following the release of Prince Harry's memoir, Spare, and the shocking revelations about the royal family, the King has apparently decided to remove his youngest son and his family from their British home in Windsor.

The Sussexes later confirmed that they had been invited to the coronation, but did not say whether they would go. And Prince Charles, who was reportedly not fully informed of the move, announced that the children would henceforth be known as Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Hoo, boy.
