Commonwealth Day exchange between Prince William and Princess Kate "bordering on flirtatious," body language expert says

Prince William and Princess Kate attended a Commonwealth Day service together at Westminster Abbey on March 13 and were adorable, as they tend to be these days.

"The Prince and Princess were seen exchanging flattering smiles during the service," body language expert Judy James told the Mirror. [At one point, Kate leaned over and pointed to where William's song score was supposed to be, and William responded with a rather sweetly restrained smile, followed by a small bounce on his heels to signal the happy moment. 5]

"Kate also chatted with William during one of his musical numbers. He was seen chatting with William in one of his musical numbers, and his answering smile was equally smitten."

"Kate was also seen chatting with William in one of his musical numbers.

Ah, so cute.

Still, this was fairly modest compared to the most recent gesture the two exchanged that immediately generated headline after headline: Kate's playful spanking at the BAFTA Awards a few weeks ago.

At the time, body language expert Darren Stanton commented, "One of the key moments of the evening was Kate's seemingly cheeky spanking of Prince William, which was caught on camera."

"At the beginning of the video, Kate appeared to try to touch William's hand, which was not returned. She then patted him on the back.

"She was very cheeky and knew the gesture would probably make international headlines. They both have a very good sense of humor and you can tell they have fun together and are mischievous."
