It's Mother's Day in the UK, and to mark the occasion, the Prince and Princess of Wales gave us all a present: a new two-shot of Princess Catherine with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. The two snaps were taken by Matt Porteus, the Welsh couple's favorite photographer, and appear to have been taken at the same photo session as the Welsh family Christmas card (all wearing the same outfit). These photos were taken in Norfolk last year and, judging by the children's outfits, were probably taken in the summer.

In today's snap, Catherine and the trio are climbing a tree together, and the Queen debuted her "Back to Nature Garden" top, which she wore to the Chelsea Flower Show in 2019. The top also appeared during the 2020 pandemic, when she and Prince William participated in a zoom call to commemorate Britain's annual Volunteer Week, and according to What Kate Wore, this is the Mabel shirt from MiH Jeans. She paired this top with jeans and white Superga Cotu Classic sneakers.

In the second snap, Princess Catherine holds Louis in her arms and smiles that loving smile only a mother can give; both photos are accompanied by the caption, "Happy Mother's Day, from our family to yours."

These photos come on the heels of news that all three children of the Welsh family will be crowned in six weeks, Marie Claire reported yesterday.

The King and Queen also commemorated this special day on social media, writing, "To all mothers around the world, and to those who may not see their mothers today, we are thinking of you and wish you a special #MothersDay." This is, of course, Prince Charles' first Mother's Day without his mother, the late King, who died last September at age 96. The first photo featured is of a young Charles standing on his mother's lap, and the second is of his mother Rosalind Shand and Camilla, who died in 1994.
