Prince William "feels very strongly" about Prince Harry's attendance at coronation, royal expert claims

Prince William and Prince Harry's relationship has not been in good shape lately, and apparently it is not going to get better anytime soon.

Although King Charles has issued formal invitations to Harry and Meghan Markle for the coronation, no announcement has yet been made as to whether they will actually attend.

If they do attend, Prince William is unlikely to be pleased about it - especially in light of his brother's revelations about him in his explosive memoir, Spare. 5]

"Royal family expert Richard Fitzwilliams told Us Weekly that he no doubt feels very strongly about it"

.

"Prince Charles, of course, as monarch, is the symbol of national unity, and the invitation comes from him. So as far as William is concerned, it is a terribly deep rift, and I don't think it will be repaired. Also, Harry is threatening to publish another book. That's a threat! So you can't ignore those things."

In fact, Harry told The Telegraph in January that he had to reduce "Spare" from its original 800 pages to 416. 'It could have been, let's say, two books. And the hard part was getting rid of a lot of stuff."

The Duke of Sussex did not seem inclined to publish anything extra, so it is more Fitzwilliams' opinion than fact at this stage that this is a threat.

The royal family said, "There are things going on between me and my brother in particular, and to some extent between me and my father, that they don't want the world to know about. Because I don't think they will forgive me."

Harry has said that he wants reconciliation in his family, but as it stands, he is sadly as far from reconciliation as he has ever been. It is unclear how this state of affairs will affect the coronation.
