Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly considering possible new home on "private island"

King Charles recently evicted Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from their British home, Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.

The King reportedly offered the Duke and Duchess of Sussex an apartment at Buckingham Palace as an alternative, but the royal couple is looking for another second home instead. (They are currently based in Montecito, Southern California.)

Basically, there seems to be quite a bit of royal drama behind the scenes right now, and one source says that the Sussexes are trying to put more distance between themselves and the royal family.

"The situation is rapidly getting unmanageably uncomfortable," the source told Heat (via the Mirror).

"There is talk that they will be based in L.A. and head to Canada, South Africa, or some other new country where they can gain more popularity and public sympathy."

"There is money to be made overseas and it fits their vision of global success."

As for what kind of environment the Sussexes have in mind, sources said, "Harry loves the idea of living in a natural and eco-friendly environment and is strongly pushing the private island route."

When the Sussexes first left their life in England, they famously fled to Vancouver Island, Canada. They also filmed part of their Netflix documentary "Harry & Meghan" there and seemed to be enjoying it to the fullest. Perhaps it is that area they are targeting?

Either way, this is just a rumor for now, let's see when and what it turns into.
