Jamie Lee Curtis Responds to Ariana DeVos' Criticism of Her BAFTA Performance: "Back the Fuck Off"

Last weekend, Ariana DeBose performed a musical medley at the BAFTAs.

At one point during her performance, she rapped her original words to honor the evening's female winners.

The words were: Angela Bassett, Viola Davis, my "Woman King," Blanchett, Cate, you are a genius, Jamie Lee, you are all of us."

Viewers were highly critical of the entire performance, noting that several actors in the audience looked uncomfortable during the performance.

However, Jamie Lee Curtis, who was mentioned in the rap and was seen happily dancing to DeVos' performance, wants critics to know exactly what he thinks of them.

"I don't really know what people are saying, and to me, she's fun, she's congenial, she's like a sister, she's hot, she's spicy, she's really incredibly talented," Curtis told Deadline at the Producers Guild of America Awards ceremony.

She further explained that because the camera was so close to the actors in the audience, it often seemed as if viewers were not enjoying the performance, when in fact they were, or were still trying to understand what DeBose was rapping about the nominees.

"By the time it got to me, I was into the music and having a great time," Curtis said. 'She's a great talent. She's a great talent.

DeBose herself made a brilliant reference to the performance when she and Diego Luna presented the SAG Award on Sunday. When announcing the nominations, she said to Luna: "I am very proud of you.

Queen.
