Prince William and Princess Kate are famously ridiculously competitive, especially with each other.

But despite both of them wanting to win at everything, the Prince of Wales doesn't seem to be competitive (unless he's learning not to be because his wife does everything so well ......)

On a recent visit to South Wales, they visited a leisure center in Port Talbot, where they took turns on a spin bike to see who could beat the other.

"At one point during the 'race,' William appears to be trying to break through a wall of pain, and Kate is bowing her head with a 'toothy' grin, showing her complete determination to beat her husband," body language expert Judy James told the Express. The couple regularly glances sideways at their opponents, not to commiserate or slow down to let them win, but to inspire themselves"

For experts, the entire event shows what a solid couple they are.

"When a couple can compete in such a serious manner in public, and Kate can sit with her hands on her hips and place a comforting hand on her husband's arm as he hands her the cup of victory, you are looking at two very healthy and solid egos in a very balanced and loving relationship," James said.

"Kate has no hesitation in showing her husband this in public and he appears to be delighted with her win. This is a milestone for men in Windsor."

For James, the relationship between the new Welsh couple is the exact opposite of that between Prince Charles and Princess Diana.

"He was famously competitive about his popularity with the public, and it is said that his jealousy was like another nail in the coffin of their marriage," she explained.21]

"So while Kate beat her husband in the spin race and celebrated her victory, William laughs as he admits defeat, and looks proud of his wife rather than jealous of her, is a powerful statement about the strength of their relationship."

The prince and princess posted photos on Instagram of themselves riding their respective spin bikes, looking like they were having the time of their lives despite running in skirts and suits, respectively.
