Keke Palmer found out she was pregnant in a very unconventional way.

The Nope actress recently revealed the full story on her podcast, Baby, This is Keke Palmer.

"It's so funny because the reason I found out was actually Darius," she said (via People).

"It just occurred to me that maybe I was pregnant. I haven't even had my period yet. Maybe now is the time."

She continued, "So I took a test and it was negative ... There was no line, so I threw it in the trash."

She then added, "I was so worried that I might be pregnant.

Palmer then left the house, but later received a text message from her boyfriend.

"I didn't wait long enough!" She explained." I said, "I took it today, literally hours before I left . He said. I'm buying 10 of these right now. Take them all when you get home.'"

Now, you may be wondering how Jackson came to find the discarded pregnancy test, but don't worry.

"I wasn't digging through the trash. ...... The cleaning lady just emptied the trash can for me. 'So when I went to the bathroom, I saw one thing in the trash can, and it was a pregnancy test. And I could just faintly see the line. It was actually a very thin line, and it was straight."

Jackson then lived his best "romance movie" life by buying every pregnancy test he could find at the local Target branch.

He further explained When Keke came back I got a couple of bottles of water and drank a lot of it. For the next two hours [the tests] were positive, positive, positive, positive."

A legend named Keke Palmer announced her pregnancy by opening her coat during her monologue to reveal her baby bump while hosting Saturday Night Live back in December, per NBC.

According to People, Palmer and Jackson have been together since 2021.
