Kaley Cuoco is expecting her first child with Tom Pelfrey, but she is not concerned about specifics.

"I don't have any plans, I've read zero books, so I'll be that mom," she recently told Entertainment Tonight.

"In many ways, I'm not like a prepper. I'm not that type of person. It's going to work out. Tom googled enough for both of us. Tom googled enough for both of us.

Cuoco and Pelfrey had something of a whirlwind romance. They met in April 2022 and are so excited to announce they are having a baby in October.

The actress continued, "I'm just like, 'It's going to be great. But that's how I've lived my life. But that's how I've lived my life."

"I was on the phone with my girlfriend the other day and she had a question, and she has a newborn, too. I said, 'I don't know what to do,' and she said, 'The baby will tell you what to do,' and I love that," Cuoco explained.

"I was like, 'I know what I'm telling people what to do. If this girl looked like me, she would say, 'This is what I want,' and I would just listen."

Aside from her partner, Cuoco also receives great support from her mother.

"My mother is amazing," she said. She's honestly been waiting 20 years to have a grandbaby. So she's absolutely thrilled."
