Kylie Jenner Wears Fake Lion Head in Paris, PETA Admits

For the Kardashian family, nothing is more fun than dressing up in looks that will go down in fashion history at glamorous events.

Jenner, the youngest Kardashian sister, attended the Spring/Summer 2023 Haute Couture and Schiaparelli shows at Paris Fashion Week.

Jenner wore a fitted, pleated black velvet gown by Schiaparelli with a giant, ultra-realistic lion head. Before I go any further: this is not a real lion's head, but a very impressive piece of artwork.

Since it's not actually a real lion's head, PETA also endorsed Jenner's outfit. Ingrid Newkirk, the organization's president, told TMZ, "Kylie's look celebrates the beauty of lions and may be a statement against trophy hunting, where lion families are torn apart to satisfy human egoism."

Posting a photo of the look on Instagram, Jenner wrote, "BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. thank you @danielroseberry and @schiaparelli for such a special morning. wow, this faux art handcrafted with man-made materials. Love to wear this piece of faux art made by hand with man-made materials. By the way, his name is Ire, which means "lion of God" in Hebrew.)

With that in mind, Jenner has caught fire in the past for wearing (and showing off) mink slippers directly after posting about the tragedy of 500 million animals killed by Australian bushfires in early 2020, as reported by Cosmopolitan.
