For its latest feat, the new show "Perfect Match," the streaming giant has gathered past contestants from its infamous dating contest and social experiment and dropped them all off at a villa to find love in a tropical paradise. Here's what we know so far about this rollicking reality show.

Streamers have announced that the new series will premiere next month on February 14 for viewers who need a plan for the global day of love. The 12-episode season will be distributed over a three-week period, with four episodes each being released on February 14, February 21, and February 28. For better or for worse, we know that this cold winter's end will be entertaining.

The success of a crossover series depends on which cast members appear in it, and Netflix has been working on 15 seasons (!) and has cast a mix of fan favorites and villains over eight series (not to mention international appearances from Circle France). Netflix announced the show with a clip announcing its cast, highlighting pairs such as Burtis and LC and Mitchell and Georgia. Each duo gets a candle staged moment to shine while hanging out around a tropical set.

While we wait for more information about the actual gameplay the cast will experience, Netflix released an official description of the show:

"Competing to build a relationship, the most compatible couple will play matchmaker, breaking up other couples and inviting new bachelors to their vacation home and send them out on a date. Only one couple will be crowned the Perfect Match in this over-the-top strategy and dating journey hosted by Nick Lachey.
