It's clear that Miley Cyrus has always been iconic, but her latest song is sending fans into a frenzy.

The singer released "Flowers" on January 13, and not only is this self-love anthem catchy as hell, but it's also full of reference after reference to her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth.

Let's start low: January 13th is Hemsworth's birthday.

Next is the fact that her lyrics mirror Bruno Mars' "When I Was Your Man." Fans claim that Hemsworth once dedicated this song to Cyrus, but there seems to be no evidence for this claim.

In the song, Mars sings about all the things he would have done for his ex if he had known what he was going to lose while they were dating.

He sings: "I should've bought you a bouquet / I should've held your hand / Given the chance / I should've given you all the time / I should've taken you to all the parties / 'Cause all you wanted to do was dance"

She sings: "I can buy myself flowers / I can write my name in the sand / I can talk to myself for hours / I can say things you don't understand / I can take myself to the dance / And I can hold my hand. Yes, I can love me more than you."

Did I mention this is symbolic?

Anyway, people on social media are super in favor of this new Miley Cyrus era.
