Amanda Seyfried's Critics Award Dress Continues to "Break"
Amanda Seyfried literally shined in an archival Dior gown at the Critics Association Awards 2023.
Seyfried's gown was a stunning gold lamé off-the-shoulder with a cutout waist and full-length skirt.
The dress looked like a dream, but apparently it was a bit of a nightmare for the actress.
Speaking to Access Hollywood on the red carpet, the star said, "It keeps breaking. I'm not kidding, it keeps tearing. In fact, it's breaking."
When she said, "I feel like I'm being tackled..." as the dress slipped off her arm, proving Seyfried's point. Then she joked. I'm taking off my dress. It's tearing more and more."
Still, Seyfried made peace with the dress and said, "It's fine. Honestly, it's old! It's beautiful!"

This was a big night for Seyfried. In addition to winning Best Actress in a Television Series or Motion Picture for The Dropout (not released in Japan), she also mentioned the possibility of making Mamma Mia 3.
Asked what it would take to make the film happen, she told "Entertainment Tonight," "I have no power at all! I have no power."
She continued, "I'm waiting to hear from them. .... I have enough ABBA songs. [Producer] Judy Kramer is 100 percent on board. I don't know what the people at Universal are doing."
The interviewer, of course, asked Seyfried about Mean Girls. [The musical "Mean Girls" is being made into a movie. Will you be gathering at the cinema for it?" She said.
The actress said, "Well, ...... They'll be flocking ...... soon. Maybe."
Asked if she was going to be in a cameo, she said, "I don't know! I don't know. Really, honestly, I don't know for sure, but I'm very open."
She continued, "I don't know. It's my first film. [It's] very much loved and I just.... I don't think it will ever end. I hope it never stops evolving. It probably will, but what a great idea!"
