Jennifer Coolidge is winning awards season, literally and figuratively.

The 61-year-old actress has only recently been recognized for her amazing work, despite having appeared in such iconic films as "A Cinderella Story," "Legally Blonde," and "Promising Young Woman."

For her role as Tanya on the hit show White Lotus, she has already racked up a Primetime Emmy and a Golden Globe, and just won a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.

"I feel so alive," she said. I feel alive," Coolidge told "Entertainment Tonight" on the red carpet. 'You go through your life and you make certain assumptions.'

She added, "It's like [show creator] Mike White changed everything; HBO changed everything. My life changed overnight... It was a once-in-a-lifetime surprise.

Asked if he could imagine himself sweeping the awards season, Coolidge said, "No! No. I usually watch it while eating popcorn! But I couldn't imagine a moment like that, getting another chance and playing a role like Tanya in White Lotus."

Coolidge stole the show at last week's Golden Globe Awards with an effortlessly hilarious and heartfelt acceptance speech.
