Princess Kate brightens up a cold January with an orange sweater set from Gabriela Hearst.
It's freezing cold in the UK right now, but thankfully, Princess Kate is bringing some warmth and sunshine in fashion (no, I'm not talking about that *TikTok trend).
The Princess of Wales visited a day care in Luton, near London, on Wednesday and re-wore a beautiful orange spice-colored sweater set by Gabriela Hearst for the occasion. Incidentally, both her turtleneck sweater (opens in new tab) and form-fitting skirt (opens in new tab) are now available for sale.
The royal actually wore this set quite recently, under a warm brown coat, when she and Prince William visited Boston in December.
Back in England, in the January cold, Kate wore a Massimo Dutti camel coat over this ensemble. She accessorized with a thick black belt and replaced her usual suede heeled pumps with black wedge boots to ward off the cold. Her hair was down and lightly curled.
Royal reporter Rebecca English wrote on Twitter that she and the Princess of Wales visited Fox Cub Nursery in Luton as part of her "ongoing work to highlight how best practices and parenting in the critical years of childhood have a huge impact on lifelong outcomes. I am with you," she wrote.
While in Luton, Kate met the staff at the nursery and spent lots of time with the children there. She helped the little ones make and decorate paper rabbit masks and even tried them on. Absolute Scene
Much of Princess Kate's charity work focuses on activities related to early childhood, often working with organizations dedicated to promoting healthy development and supporting caregivers.
