Princess Kate reveals that her workout routine includes trampolining with her children.
Princess Kate is an avid sports fan, both as a spectator and participant, but with such a busy royal schedule, it is obviously not easy to fit in a little exercise.
Still, she seems to have come up with a great way to get her body moving on a regular basis.
On Thursday, the Princess of Wales attended a reception for the English wheelchair rugby league team at Hampton Court Palace.
When one of the players asked the Princess if she went to the gym, she replied, "I run around after the kids. I exercise whenever I can, and I jump on the trampoline with the children before they go to school" (from The Mirror).
Princesses? On a trampoline" Why do I love this idea so much?
While at Hampton Court, Kate was also asked if Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis play rugby.
The mother of three said, "We are always a little competitive with each other. We all love sports and Prince Louis is crazy about rugby."
"They are at an age where they love to run around."
It was previously reported that Kate used to bring her children to the trampoline park on a fairly regular basis while she lived in London, but it seems she was not jumping around herself.
The family may have invested in their own trampoline for their new home in Windsor.
Princess Kate looked like an angel in the soft January sunshine as she arrived at Thursday's event, wearing a swoon-worthy plum pantsuit with matching pointed pumps and a simple white sweater. So simple, yet so lovely.
According to Newsweek, the pantsuit is by Laurent Mouret, the same one she wore in Boston in December.
Interestingly, the princess seems to be re-wearing her most recent look more frequently these days. It used to be that every few years, or even a decade, the princess would bring back an item, but this is the second time this month (by my count) that she has re-worn an outfit she wore in Boston just a few weeks ago. Since everything is left to chance in the royal world, is this an attempt to show that Mr. and Mrs. Wales are keeping their feet on the ground?
