Royal Expert Says Princess of Wales Is "Over the Drama"
Why is there always drama around the British princess's birthday?"
Kate was born on January 9, but it is becoming a regular pattern that something always happens around her big day: in 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left active royal service the day before, on January 8; in 2022 on January 12, Prince Andreu attempted to dismiss a sexual assault complaint, only to have it dismissed by a judge. (And this year, on January 10, just one day after Kate's 41st birthday, Harry released his bombshell memoir, Spare.
But according to the Daily Mail, Kate is "over the drama": returning to both shared and solo work at a Liverpool hospital and a Luton nursery, the Princess of Wales is moving forward.
"She does a job that not only brings a smile to her own face, but to the faces of others," royal expert Katie Nicol told OK. 'She doesn't do drama and never has.'
Like Her Majesty, who died before her, both Kate and her father-in-law, King Charles, are "back to business" and working on the work that needs to be done, Nicole said.
"She sets an example and puts duty before herself," Nicole said.
And the public seems to be responding. The Daily Mail reported, "Despite Prince Harry's scathing attacks in his memoir Spare, including claims that Prince William pushed Prince Harry during an argument about Meghan, the Welsh couple were in town (Liverpool, where the couple toured the new Royal Liverpool University Hospital) Upon arrival, they were greeted with loud cheers from the crowd," the report said.
Here's to Kate's 40th birthday on January 9, 2024 - may she have the most drama-free birthday ever.
