Prince Harry Defends Prince William's Baldness in "Spare" as "Amazing"
Prince Harry and Prince William's relationship has always seemed complicated, but now it appears to be at its worst, with the Duke of Sussex admitting that he has not spoken to his brother "for some time."
Harry insists that he wants a familial reconciliation, but in his memoir, Spare-out, due out on January 10, he makes a statement that could make the reunion rather awkward.
In a 60 Minutes interview that aired Sunday, host Anderson Cooper noted that certain passages in Spare could be seen as hurtful to members of his family. He gave the following example of an exchange between Harry and William.
"You write about a meeting you had with him in 2021," Cooper told Harry (according to the Mirror).
"You said, 'I saw Willie, maybe for the first time since we were boys, really saw him. His familiar scowl, his amazing baldness that is more advanced than mine, his resemblance to his famous mama that is fading with time, with age.
"That's quite a cut."
Prince Harry, however, did not agree with Cooper's assessment of this particular passage.
"I don't find it sad at all. [My brother and I love each other. I love him deeply. There has been a lot of pain between the two of us, especially over the last six years. None of what I have written or included is intended to hurt my family."

Speaking to ITV's Tom Bradby, Harry hinted that he might not have made so many revelations and written so many memoirs if the family had been more open to frank discussions.
"We didn't have to go so far. We had conversations, we wrote letters, we wrote e-mails, everything," he said, explaining that the family had no intention of reconciling, at least not in the way he had envisioned.
