Prince Charles "angry and resentful" that Prince Harry chased after Camilla in "Spare
Prince Harry, in his shocking memoir Spare and later in a 60 Minutes interview with Anderson Cooper, called his stepmother Camilla "dangerous" and implied that he had planted stories about other members of the royal family in order to rehabilitate his own image as the future king's former mistress. He implied that he had concocted the story about other members of the royal family in order to rehabilitate his image as the future king's former mistress. Not surprisingly, Harry's father (Camilla's husband), King Charles, is very upset by the attacks on his wife, "Us Weekly" reports.
"He is angry and outraged that Harry has made so many embarrassing and damaging claims. But there have been so many egregious statements and revelations from Harry that his father doesn't seem to know where to start. With time, the dust will settle and Harry will soften his heart toward his family - at least he hopes so. At least he hopes so.
In the book, Harry writes: "I hope she is happy. If she is happy, there may be less danger."
And a week ago on "60 Minutes," Harry told Cooper that his stepmother was dangerous. That was because she had established connections in the British press. And both sides were openly willing to exchange information. It was a family built on hierarchy, and besides, she was about to be crowned queen, so there would have been people and bodies left on the streets for that."
In Spare, Harry claims that "enthusiastic" members of Prince Charles' team "devised and launched a new campaign to get good press" for Prince Charles and Camilla before their 2005 wedding. According to Harry, this strategy was done "at the expense of bad press" for him and his brother Prince William.
