Palace Officials Criticize Prince Harry for Turning His Back on the Royal Family
While the feud between brothers Prince William and Prince Harry will (unfortunately) last until 2023, and despite the release of Harry's confessional book, Spare, in 10 days, the feud is not going to stop at all, palace officials have spoken out about the brothers' strained relationship, "OK OK" reports.
In the Netflix documentary "Harry & Meghan," Harry was critical of his brother's temper tantrums at a family meeting in Sandringham to discuss Harry and his wife Meghan Markle's retirement from the royal family in early 2020. (Harry said on the program, "It was horrible to have my brother yelling and screaming at me, my father saying things that weren't true, and my grandmother sitting there quietly taking it all in," he said. The saddest part was that it drove a wedge between me and my brother.") Now, "Marie Claire" reported earlier today that it appears that it will again be William who will receive the bulk of the criticism in "Spare," which will be released on January 10.
"He has changed for the worse since he married," says a courtier, claiming that the Duke of Sussex is no longer "the man we once knew."
The courtier continued that "bullying is a hot button" for Harry, adding that courtiers are prepared to expose Meghan's own bullying, saying, "I think this all boils down to Meghan's behavior and the accusation that she has always disrespected her inner circle."
In "Harry & Meghan," the Duchess of Sussex reveals her anguish as her relationship with Harry within the royal family began to change.
"When you feel like people haven't known who you are at all for so long, it's really nice just to have the opportunity to give people a little more of a glimpse of what happened and who we are," she said.
Palace sources also admonished Harry for having "the gall to brand his brother a bully just because he was called on the carpet by William, who abandoned his royal duties after a life of privilege," sources said, "He (Harry) has turned his back on the monarchy, tradition, and his birth family." They add.
