Meghan Markle and Princess Eugenie reportedly have an "unbreakable bond"
While tensions may continue after the release of Netflix's six-part documentary "Harry & Meghan" (and after the January 10 release of Prince Harry's memoir "Spare"), "Meghan Markle and Princess Eugenie's relationship . seems to be continuing.
Eugenie, daughter of embattled Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, is said to share an "unbreakable bond" with Meghan."
"It is unclear where Meghan Markle and Prince Harry stand with most members of the royal family, but the relationship with Princess Eugenie is as strong as ever," Us Weekly reports."
"Eugenie, Harry, and Princess Meghan have an unbreakable bond," a source told the magazine." They are in regular contact and FaceTime with their children at least once every couple of months." (Harry and Meghan are parents to Archie, born in 2019, and Lilibet, born in 2021, while Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank are parents to August, born just four months before Lilibet.)
The magazine notes that Meghan and Eugenie "were born at the same time in 2021 bonded during their pregnancies" and grew closer through their shared experiences as mothers, the magazine reported." They are an unlikely pair in some ways, but they stay in touch," a source told Us Weekly at the time, adding that the two women "remain friends."
Eugenie also appeared in "Harry & Meghan," albeit briefly, in episode 6. Two couples, Harry and Meghan and Jack and Eugenie, attended a Halloween party in Toronto in 2016. Eugenie also famously attended the Super Bowl with Harry after Harry and Meghan moved to the United States in 2020.
And while Eugenie and the couple's relationship appears to remain strong, Us Weekly reported that their documentary was a "thorn in the side" of Harry's brother, Prince William. William had hoped they could move forward after the CBS interview [in March 2021], but Harry's public display of dirty laundry heightened the conflict between the two brothers and resulted in them taking a step backward."
