Princess of Wales makes a last-minute, extra-sweet change to her Christmas Day attire.
Princess Kate's Christmas look this year was her most daring yet, but apparently a last-minute outfit change was made, the Mirror reports.
One of Kate's Christmas gifts this year from William was a pair of gold-plated earrings that the Princess's longtime favorite, Cezanne, was spotted wearing as the Royal Family took the traditional Christmas walk to St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham. They were gold-plated earrings designed by Cézanne. It is a royal tradition to open Christmas presents on Christmas Eve, and "Kate was clearly eager to wear the new additions to her jewelry box as soon as possible," the magazine wrote. (In addition to the Cezanne earrings, Kate wore an olive green Alexander McQueen coat and a Philip Treacy fedora hat for the occasion.) Whatever earrings she had planned for Christmas, the Cezanne earrings seemed to beat them out.
It's clear that Kate is a big fan of the brand. (William, the thoughtful husband, obviously realized that his wife was a fan of the brand and shopped accordingly. One person described the gift as "very thoughtful," while another said, "Gorgeous earrings. I bet she'll love them. I wish my husband was as thoughtful as William!"
.
And like many of the pieces Kate wears, this particular Cézanne design, the Dina earrings, sold out instantly within minutes of the princess wearing them.
