There are serious spoilers for Season 4 of Too Hot to Handle. Season 4 of "Too Hot to Handle" was a good balance of genuine connection and purely lustful motivations. (*cough* Creed*cough*) Model Brittan Byrd and personal trainer James Pendergrass were one of the earliest couples to connect at their vacation home in the Turks and Caicos Islands. The couple, who live in Hawaii, expressed mutual interest in each other at the start of the experiment and stayed together throughout the program, but there were some tumultuous moments.

While Brittan was down for a good rule violation, James took upon himself the role of cockblocker, trying (and failing) to make sure no one wasted the group's money. His goal was admirable, but he was so focused on stopping rule violations that he unwittingly neglected Brittan. She then traded beds with James and slept with the newly arrived, tattooed Ethan.

James felt a little insulted by Brittan, but recognized how much he loved her and apologized for focusing more on the prize money than on his affection for her. They had a romantic last date and discussed whether they wanted to stay together." I really like you and I really like what we have," Brittany told James, to which he replied, "I've only had one for so long and now I'm sitting with her." In this sweet moment, Lana gave him permission, and the two shared their first kiss.

In the end, the couple was not included in the finalists, giving the spot for the two couples to Kayla and Seb (opens in new tab) and Java Hill and Nick (opens in new tab). However, both are active on Instagram, following each other, liking each other's posts and exchange lighthearted comments; in a photo of James shared two weeks ago (opens in new tab), the trainer captioned it "Sea no evil," to which Brittan responded with a fire emoji and the phrase "Sea no flaws."

The pair also joined the rest of the cast in London for a reunion and promotional shoot. While Brittan shared some posts with the ladies of Season 4 (open in new tab), James gave sweet shoutouts to Nick, Seb, and Creed individually. He also teased a personal post, writing on his Instagram Story, "I have another one next week." Assuming he is not trying to send love to Nigel, news about him and Brittan is likely to arrive soon!

As for TikTok, the couple broke the norm for season 4 contestants, being the only couple to record a clip together. There are several posts on James' account that directly address his storyline with Brittan, including one that claims that he was never attracted to her, which is a "false accusation." It is worth noting that he has also used Nick and Creed in several posts, but they are the only couple to post together following the episode.
