Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly want to meet directly with the royal family, including an apology, before attending the coronation.

Before considering attending King Charles' coronation in May, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle apparently hope to receive an apology from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and want a face-to-face meeting with the royal family, several media reports have said.

The Mirror reports that the Sussexes want the royal family to "take responsibility" for the pain and damage caused to them, while the Times (opens in new tab) reports that sources close to Harry and Meghan say they want to hold a meeting before attending the coronation. The meeting will consist of the claims made against the Farm in the Netflix documentary about the Sussexes, "Harry & Meghan," which was released this month, and the magazine says, "The couple are particularly interested in discussing their relationship with black charity boss Ngozi Fulani and former maid of honor Lady Susan Hussey, who They are outraged that the palace has arranged a warm reconciliation meeting after the racist riots," the magazine reported. Harry and Meghan consider the meeting, in which Hussey offered a "heartfelt apology," a "double standard."

"When Harry and Meghan expressed their various concerns, nothing of the sort was done - no meeting, no formal apology, no taking responsibility or accountability," a source told the Times. '100% yes, they want to have a meeting.'

In the docu-series, Harry said he had to come to terms with the fact that he "probably won't get any real accountability or real apology" from the royal family.

Palace sources have said that the King may be open to a meeting, and "if they want to get in touch with him, they know where he lives," The Sun reported.
