Prince William and Prince Harry have no plans to speak with friends
It's no secret that brothers Prince William and Prince Harry have been at odds for years, but, not surprisingly, the recent release of Harry and Meghan Markle's six-part Netflix documentary "Harry & Meghan" has done absolutely nothing to mend fences. According to friends, William has "no plans" to talk to Harry in the wake of the series' release, and this relationship (or what little relationship there was left) may be over for good.
Both Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace have refused to comment on Harry & Meghan. Harry, in particular, spoke about the so-called "Sandringham Summit," where William said he was terrorized after he yelled at him. According to William's friends, William "has no immediate plans to get in touch with Harry," the Mirror reported. It was clear that things had been very strained for some time. There is sadness at the current situation with his brother."
The Mirror reported that William "has been in contact with his brother for some time.
Despite reports that William wants to keep Harry out of his father King Charles' coronation on May 6, the Mirror reported that King Charles "is said to be taking a conciliatory approach to the situation," and that on May 6 He plans to invite Harry and Meghan to an event at Westminster Abbey. (It is not known if the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will attend.) "The King also reportedly does not want to strip the Duke and Duchess of Sussex of their titles because of the documentary." There is still speculation that the two may relinquish their royal titles as the fallout from the Netflix documentary continues." The magazine continued.
William appears to have cut off contact with his brother altogether, but as the documentary shows, the brothers still emailed each other, at least at one point when they were at odds. Royal correspondent Roya Nikka quoted a source in The Times (by The Insider) as saying that William and Harry's relationship had been "very strained for some time."
"The saddest part is what Harry said in the documentary about his former intimate relationship with his brother. Part of that is understandable. It is something my brother inherited."
