Prince Harry, next interview to promote "Spare"?

Don't Forget Harry & Meghan: ...... While all eyes are on the couple's six-part Netflix documentary about the couple that was just released this month, more bombshells are planned for Prince Harry's memoir, Spare, which will be released in three weeks, on January 10.

And to promote the book, Harry is scheduled to give an interview on January 8 with veteran journalist Anderson Cooper of CNN.

"There are fears that Harry will use the CNN interview to take aim at the royal family and give viewers a preview of the more dramatic claims that will be made in the book," the Mirror reported.

According to the paper, the interview will air on CBS's "60 Minutes," which also features Cooper.

"Mr. Cooper has won Harry's trust," one source told the Daily Mail. 'It would be a coup for Mr. Cooper and a perfect fit for Harry's campaign to promote mental health. It's a prime-time Sunday show with foreign leaders and presidents. It's a show that politicians and decision makers watch in droves."

Like Harry, Cooper is also an advocate for mental health and has spoken openly about the loss of his brother Carter to suicide. According to the Mirror, Cooper has also covered the war in Afghanistan, and Harry has served two tours of duty in the British Army.

Cooper told viewers, "I was at the Royal Wedding covering it for CNN. Our correspondent, Max Foster, said, 'Wave to Harry. I'm sure Harry will look up at the bright lights and wave to you,'" he said. The carriage turns. I start waving. Harry looked up at the tower, made eye contact with me, and waved. I almost died."

Whether the pair will continue to strain family relations remains to be seen, but a palace official said, "When the dust settles, the family will be able to forget the past and move on." As for Prince Charles, one source said, "He loves his two sons, and the hope is eternal that a happier future awaits them if they stop clinging to the past."
