Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and Princess Kate's Netflix documentary episode on the day of their carol concert.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will release the first three episodes of their Netflix documentary this week (December 8).
One move by the royal couple and the streaming giant that has raised the eyebrows of commentators in particular is the fact that the second installment of "Harry & Meghan" will be released on December 15.
The timing of the release seems a bit pointed, as the project is one of the Princess of Wales' most important solo efforts. Also, whether intentional or not, the documentary is likely to overshadow the Carol Concert, at least in terms of media coverage and public attention.
This is because the first trailer for the Sussex couple's series threatened to overshadow Prince William and Princess Kate's visit to Boston for the Earthshot Awards ceremony.
Kate's holiday event was announced last month and officially described as follows: "Led by the Princess and supported by the Royal Foundation, this carol service will celebrate and showcase the joy that human connection brings. The service combines both traditional and contemporary elements to reach people of all faiths and none.
As for the Netflix series, it is taking Netflix by storm thanks to two explosive teaser trailers. In a manner of speaking, it's a new Oprah interview.
