Prince Harry looks "nervous" on first date with "confident" Meghan Markle: body language expert
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who just released three episodes of a Netflix documentary about their lives, were generous enough to share the full story of how they met and how they came to be together.
Shortly after they caught each other's eye on Instagram and a strategic DM slide, the two went to dinner in London's Soho district.
It all got off to an inauspicious start when Prince Harry got stuck in traffic and arrived 30 minutes late.
But when the charming prince arrived bright red, sweaty and huffing and puffing, she realized it was all an honest mistake and the date went smoothly from then on.
It was a really nice memory, but of course Harry was a little embarrassed.
"When you think about a memory, the unconscious thinks you are reliving it, so it evokes all the emotions the person felt in that memory," Darren Stanton told Marie Claire on behalf of Betfair Casino (open in new tab).
"While talking about the first date, Prince Harry began to blush a bit. Prince Harry then started touching his face and nose. This suggests that Harry is still uncomfortable talking about their relationship and wants to refrain from doing so.
"Despite Meghan and Harry's ongoing talk about their first date, Harry's unconsciousness is triggering feelings of the past.
For Stanton, the difference in the two Sussexes' attitudes is not surprising given what we know about them.
"In the body language of this particular clip, Harry seems jittery and quite nervous, while Megan is completely calm and in control," he explains.
"You have to remember that throughout her career as an actress, she is very comfortable with her work on camera. She knows how to do her best."
"She is definitely the most confident person in this particular clip, as her body language conveys composure."
"She is a very confident person.
Very interesting!
