Jennifer Grey of "Dirty Dancing" opens up about her thinning hair.
"Dirty Dancing" star Jennifer Grey gave a super candid talk about her experience with thinning hair.
Speaking to E! News, Gray, 62, revealed that the process was surprising and difficult to adjust to, but that she learned how to take care of her hair as it was and learned to love it too.
"I always had the best hair. During the pandemic, I started to feel like my hair was losing some of its zip." It started to feel like a shell of its former self, and I was like, "What's going on?" I was like, "What's going on?"
.
She also added: "It was a little dry. It was a little dryer, easier to break, and thinner."
She added, "I was a bit more nervous about the whole thing, and I was a bit nervous about the whole thing. She eventually met Lars Skjoth, founder of the hair removal company Harklinikken (open in new tab), and partnered with this brand.
She worked with Skjoth on hair care to restore the spring that was missing in her hair.
"I did everything as prescribed. I wash my hair every day. 'Why should I wash my hair every day?' But the scalp is a continuation of the face. The scalp must be clean, and so must the hair follicles."
Gray also revealed that she never expected her hair quality to decline. I took it for granted," she said. I thought, 'At least I'll have this hair for the rest of my life. I thought it would never change.
Still, the star is philosophical. She says, "As you get older, you lose some things, but you also gain a lot. I'm 100 percent happier than I was when I was younger. There is so much to gain as you get older."
She concluded." If you can adapt and strategically improve on the little things, it goes a long way."
Well said.
