Prince William and Princess Kate share a sweet moment with a girl dressed as a princess.
Prince William and Princess Kate visited Scarborough, North Yorkshire, to focus on activities related to mental health.
At the community hub, The Street, the Prince and Princess of Wales were greeted by an adorable little girl named Callie Rose.
A local radio station shared a clip of Callie's interaction with William and Kate on Twitter, writing, "Callie Rose dressed as a Princess today for the royal visit to Scarborough... This was the moment she met a real princess," with the caption.
The Welsh couple were very good to their little one, with Kate immediately kneeling at her height to chat and receive what looked like a painting. Behind his wife, William leaned over and told the girl, "That's the coolest, most sparkly dress I've ever seen." Prince Willis exhaled.
Callie then handed Kate a bouquet of flowers and the royal asked, "Is this for me too?" She asks.
The princess then says, "They are so beautiful. Which one do you like best?"
.
Callie points to the roses, and her caretaker asks, "Is that because your name is Callie Rose?" I ask. Why not an iris? Names based on flowers are the best.
Later, during a speech given by William, Callie wanders onto the stage and the prince belly laughs.
Princess Kate looked especially elegant during this visit to Scarborough. She wore a matching turtleneck dress with a calf-length camel coat, tan stilettos, a tan belt, and a tan handbag from De Mellier (opens in new tab). She also wore a poppy pin on her lapel to show her respect for the troops during Remembrance Month.
