Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz truly have the best friendship.

According to People, the two have been friends since before they filmed the cult film "Charlie's Angels" together in 2000, and that bond continues to this day.

In a new Instagram post, Barrymore shared a photo of her and Diaz enjoying each other's company with the caption, "In honor of our merlot drop this week! #Everyone else seems to be as enamored with their friendship as I am: Paris Hilton commented, "Queen," and Instagram itself said, "This friendship >>," while Barrymore's brand Beautiful by Drew said, "What a duo!"

Speaking of brands, the reason for this throwback was commercial. Both women are releasing limited edition Merlot-themed products for the holiday season, which is a bonding experience.

Beautiful by Drew, a kitchenware company, is releasing a limited edition Merlot-colored air fryer, stand mixer, and kettle, while Diaz's wine brand, Avaline, is releasing a limited edition Merlot that is as actual as the wine.

The two friends filmed a playful skit to promote the happy Merlot news. Here's the script:

Diaz: "Do you have any Merlot?" Barrymore: "Do you have any Merlot? Diaz: "I have Merlot." Barrymore: "I have merlot too. Diaz: "Show me your Merlot and I'll show you my Merlot!" Barrymore: "I'll show you my Merlot!" Diaz [turns around]: "On the count of three, I have a Merlot!" Barrymore: "Merlot. Mine is the limited edition." Diaz: "Mine too! It's for the holidays! Isn't that funny?

Then they both go into commercial voice, saying "DrinkAvaline.com", "Walmart.com! Or in-store."
