Kate Middleton feels "stressed and anxious" over all the events of the past two months, royal expert says

Life has seasons of consistency and seasons of change, and for the new Crown Princess, the past two months have been a season of great change, causing her stress and anxiety, according to royal experts.

Fresh from a presumably relaxing vacation at Balmoral at the end of the summer, Kate Middleton moved her family from Kensington Palace in London to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor just days before the devastating loss of Queen Elizabeth, who died at Balmoral on September 8 at age 96. Coincidentally, Queen Elizabeth's death occurred on the same day that Kate's three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, entered their new school, Rum Rook. The next day, Kate was named the new Princess of Wales, along with her husband Prince William, who had inherited the title of Prince of Wales from his father. This is the first time Kate has been publicly referred to as the Princess of Wales since the death of her mother-in-law, Princess Diana, in 1997. Camilla, who was married to then Prince Charles, was technically the Duchess of Wales, but because of her close relationship with Diana, she never assumed that title in public and used the title of Duchess of Cornwall.

And while the rest of the world has resumed a largely normal life after the mourning of the late Princess Diana, inside Adelaide Cottage, William is mourning his beloved grandmother, his three children are grieving their dear great-grandmother, and Kate herself is missing the woman who was the foundation of her own life for 20 years With all that is happening at home, plus the increased pressure in her royal role, Kate is enduring a "very difficult time" with "considerable stress and anxiety," says Katie Nicole.

The move to Windsor was not what William and Kate had hoped for, Nicole told the TalkTV show "Royal Tea," according to the Mirror.

"They say so themselves... That this was not the calm period that they had hoped for," Nicole said. 'Of course, they made the big decision to move to Windsor after the summer break. They made a rather bold and significant move, leaving Kensington Palace, enrolling their children in a new school, and starting a new life for themselves in Windsor. Of course, no one would have expected the Queen to die just as all that was beginning. It was a very, very difficult time. Behind the scenes, I think there is considerable stress and anxiety for the whole family."

William and Kate, who had both embraced their new titles and were very public during the month following the late Queen's death, were almost invisible during the past week as neither made public appearances as the children were on their fall school break. George, Charlotte, and Louis return to Rum Rock tomorrow, October 31, to finish out the semester.

Last year, the fivesome traveled to Jordan to commemorate the children's fall break, where they were photographed. We hope that this fall break will give Kate, and the rest of the family, some much needed rest and relaxation.
