Latest episode of Meghan Markle's podcast gets a release date, after the Queen's official mourning period.
Meghan Markle will release a new episode of her podcast Archetypes next Tuesday, October 4.
The news, first reported by Variety, comes after the release of further episodes was suspended in light of the official mourning period for Queen Elizabeth II.
During the hiatus, the podcast's Spotify description read, "New episodes of Archetypes will be paused during the official mourning period of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II."
Now it says, "Regularly scheduled episodes will resume on Tuesday, October 4."
This fourth episode in the series features a conversation between the Duchess of Sussex and comedian Margaret Cho, who, according to Variety, will dissect "the common refrain of Asian Americans in the entertainment industry."
Previous episodes have featured tennis legend Serena Williams, beloved diva Mariah Carey, and the amazing multi-hyphenate Mindy Kaling (who happens to be on the current cover of Marie Claire).
In each episode, the Duchess and her guest of the week attempt to redefine words, phrases, and concepts commonly used against women in society and instead find power in them.
However, the podcast reportedly caused a certain amount of fear within the royal family because it told anecdotes from Markle's time as senior royalty (such as the story of Archie's nursery catching fire during a royal tour); after the queen's death on September 8, the Duchess and producers It is not known if further episodes were edited.
Now that the official royal mourning period is over, it is back to business as usual for the whole family: the Sussex family's Archewell website, which only showed a message about the Queen from Prince Harry, is now back to normal. As for Prince William and Princess Kate, they returned to Wales on September 27 for their first outing since the mourning period.
