Princess Kate stuns in navy suit while meeting Royal Navy personnel
If you're stuck for fall workwear, let Princess Kate be your ultimate inspiration.
On September 29, the Princess of Wales offered a variety of absolute business casual looks during her first solo engagement since receiving her prestigious new title.
Princess Kate welcomed members of the Royal Navy at places like Kensington Palace in a crisp navy blue suit by Alexander McQueen (navy, navy... you get the idea) (to buy the jacket, right click here (opens in a new tab)). She paired this pantsuit with a white bodysuit from one of her new favorite brands, Holland Cooper. She finished the look with her trusty navy pointy suede pumps.
On the beauty front, she let her brunette locks down, straightened them, and lightly waved the ends. Once again, she showed her disregard for Generation Z's self-imposed fashion rules by rocking a side part (see: her undying love for skinny jeans).
Kensington Palace released photos of the event on social media, showing the princess chatting with guests and guests posing in a semicircle around her.
They captioned the post." It is an honor to meet some of the @RoyalNavy Ship's Company of HMS Glasgow."" I learned a lot about their role and what's next on her route to sea".
Royal reporter Rebecca English explained that "Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth has approved the appointment of the Princess of Wales as sponsor of the 21st century warship, HMS GLASGOW, in June 2021."
Although this was the first time the Princess had acted alone since Queen Elizabeth's death, she and her husband traveled to Wales earlier this week to visit several organizations and meet with a large number of supporters.
