Kim Kardashian was "very supportive" of Pete Davidson going to therapy, sources say.
Shortly after Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson's breakup was revealed, the comedian underwent trauma therapy, partly due to persistent harassment from Kanye West.
Now a source tells Page Six exactly how Kardashian felt about Davidson managing her mental health.
"Kim was very supportive of Pete getting therapy," the source said.
"Kanye was very toxic. He was posting negative things - now adding thousands and thousands of comments. Someone has to work with him to deal with that kind of thing."
The rapper, who was once married to Kardashian and had four children, publicly criticized his ex-wife's relationship with Davidson, going so far as to portray violence against Davidson in one of his music videos. He also repeatedly expressed his feelings on Instagram.
"Receiving death threats from [Kanye's] fans and negative attention online is not a good feeling for the public. Add in people suffering from mental illness, and it gets even worse," another source told "Page Six."
Davidson has been very open about his diagnosis of borderline personality disorder; in 2021, he told Glenn Close in Variety, "I was diagnosed with BPD a few years ago, and I was always confused, always feeling like something was wrong and I didn't know how to handle it. I didn't know," he said.
"Then when someone finally tells you, it feels like the weight of the world is lifted off your shoulders. I feel so much better."
In 2018, Davidson criticized West for using his mental health as an excuse for his shoddy behavior in a Saturday Night Live segment in which the rapper expressed his displeasure during Davidson and Kardashian's relationship. Ugh.
