Prince Harry "misses Britain more and more" over time, Royal Experts Project

In 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made the decision to leave the United Kingdom, where their duties as senior royals had proven difficult for their mental health.

This decision was what they thought best at the time, and they certainly seem to support it. However, to some royal experts, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's home life in the United States may not have been treated as kindly as they had hoped.

"I suspect that Harry will miss England more and more as time goes on," Richard Palmer said in the Daily Express' "Royal Roundup." But he also suggested that over time he "might get used to" his new home country.

Harry, of course, was born in England as a member of the British royal family and was based there until the scrutiny his wife was subjected to became too much for them and he decided to step down from royal life.

Now, on what basis does Palmer make this assumption? He observes that "[Meghan and Harry] don't look that happy to me when they are in public."

He specifically mentions Harry's recent attendance at the UN, where he thinks the Duke "looked uncomfortable."

While it is not impossible that Harry and Meghan are not necessarily happy in their new life (we don't know this, by the way, and maybe they are living the dream), it is not necessarily surprising that Harry might have looked uncomfortable at the UN It is not. 13]

Not only was he scheduled to speak in front of a large, important, and intimidating crowd, but he also received a lot of criticism beforehand from people who thought he was not fit to speak on Nelson Mandela Day.

So while he certainly may not have been at his happiest that day, that does not mean he is always miserable. He certainly misses the UK, but does he miss it so much that he regrets leaving?
