Emma from "Friends" responds to joke about 2020

Emma from "Friends" (opens in new tab) finally woke up from her nap in the 2003 "Friends" episode "The One with the Cake," in which Monica and Chandler They recorded it. 'Hey, Emma,' an annoyed Chandler begins. 'It's 2020. Are you still enjoying your nap?" [By the way, we're Aunt Monica and Uncle Chandler. We haven't spoken to your parents in 17 years, so you might not recognize us," adds an equally irate Monica.

And Chandler jokes: "We used to be married, but we missed a weekend trip together and things kinda went wrong. It's your fault!"

Well, it's 2020, and the now-grown actress who played Emma (opens in new tab) is Noelle Sheldon, who played Emma along with her twin sister Cali, who responded to the joke with a stunning Instagram post (opens in new tab).

Sharing a photoshopped photo of himself in Central Park, Noel wrote, " Just woke up from a great nap! Happy 2020!!!!! (ft. my bad photoshop) Hope everyone has a great year full of family, friends, and laughter!"

Meanwhile, "Friends" co-creator David Crane has revealed that the show was about to end (open in new tab) much earlier than it finally did in 2004. "We were doing the eighth season, and they said, 'That's it.' " he said. At some point in the ninth season, they said, 'This is absolutely the last season.' And a week later, they came back and said, 'Well, ......' ' And I said,"

"So we got to the tenth season, and I said, 'Let's get this straight, we can't keep going like this and not know where we're going. So we knew very clearly that this was the end."
